Jennie Patton - Attorney
Jennie Patton received her BA from University of California, Berkeley and her Law Degree from University of San Francisco. She moved to Washington State in 1994 and began her Olympia law practice in 1996.
Jennie’s law practice includes personal injury law and consumer bankruptcy law. She represents people who have been seriously injured in car accidents. She also assists people who need to file Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcies.
Jennie enjoys spending time answering questions and providing information to each person seeking her assistance. Her friendly, practical approach puts people at ease. She is very knowledgeable and pays great attention to details. She prepares her client’s cases with the utmost care.
Carlotta - Paralegal
Carlotta began working as a paralegal for Jennie Patton in 2001. Prior to joining Jennie’s office she worked as a paralegal for an Olympia criminal law attorney for two years. Before her paralegal career Carlotta was in the banking industry for over thirty years.
Carlotta is the lead paralegal on Chapter 13 Bankruptcy cases for their three to five year duration. Carlotta enjoys working with and getting to know the people she assists. The typical length of a Chapter 13 case provides Carlotta with time to build a strong rapport with her clients. She likes using her considerable professional and personal life experiences to assist others through the bankruptcy process.
Kate - Paralegal
Kate has worked in Jennie Patton’s office as a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Paralegal since 2009. Although paperwork may be your worst nightmare, Kate actually enjoys it! She thrives on the challenge of the work; it’s like a puzzle to her. She especially likes working with clients and assisting them through what can be a difficult time. She welcomes the opportunity to make the process of filing bankruptcy as painless as possible for anyone in need of a fresh start.
Dan - Paralegal
Dan began working part-time as a paralegal for Jennie Patton in 2006 after retiring from a long career as a bankruptcy attorney, and moving to Olympia, Washington to be closer to his family.
Dan spends much of his workday being proactive and troubleshooting our Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. His work includes communicating with the court trustees and their staff, working with creditor attorneys, monitoring the bankruptcy court hearing calendars, and preparing and filing legal motions and other court documents.
Linn - Office Manager
Linn has been greeting clients at Jennie Patton’s office since 2006. In answering incoming calls, setting appointments, and managing the overall flow of office activity, Linn ensures clients receive prompt and thorough assistance during their case. Linn possesses a wealth of information and is the nicest person you will ever talk to. She is grateful for the opportunity to lend an ear to people who find themselves in a difficult predicament.
Jill - Bookkeeper
Jill joined Jennie Patton’s office in 2008. She works part-time to keep our client accounts and business finances in order. You can catch her here on Tuesday and Friday mornings.
Jasper - Office Greeter
Jasper began coming to the law office with Jennie in 2007. He greets both new and returning clients and helps everyone feel welcome. He likes to sit in on meetings Jennie has with her clients. He also enjoys traveling with her to the Bankruptcy Court in Tacoma and waiting in the car during court hearings.
